Interface Components - RoHS Compliant
As you will be aware legislation specifying the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic equipment (RoHS) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is now a legal requirement.
Interface monitor all of it's products to ensure that all our products comply with the two Directives in specific to the limited use of lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyls and diphenyl ethers.
The main substance under scrutiny that Interface Components Limited is monitoring closely is the restriction of lead. As set out in the EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS) only critical lead is on the banned list which is primarily used in solder and colours. There is no discussion in relation to the banning of lead from certain alloys like brass which plays a fundamental part in our products due to it’s excellent mechanical properties.
