When a large international telecoms company called searching for a Type 43 connector to fit their new mini coax cable Interface solved their problem in no time at all. The customer had already tried other companies, but without success, and their requirement was so urgent that they drove to our Twickenham offices the same day with samples of the cable.
Our team of design and manufacturing experts was able to quickly develop a solution and modify existing connectors to produce a sample which fitted the customer’s cable perfectly. And when it came to making further connectors for the customer to evaluate and demonstrate to their client, Interfaces’ onsite warehousing and production proved its worth, and the customer was able to leave with sufficient samples to meet their needs.
The Interface connector was quickly approved and it has now been installed at many sites as a result.
Since the initial connector design the range of connectors has been extended to include the BNC family and to fit other telecom companies' mini and micro coax cables.
